Minor Rant with a question

Hey fellas,

I'm pretty new to the Mustang community and the modding capabilities of the 4.6, but I had a heavily modified 5.7 Charger so I know what can be achieved. But I have a friend who is in love with his 2006ish Civic SI. It's a nice car honestly, great everyday car, but I'll keep my Shelby GT. Since he's started minor engine modding (Just some Skunk thing Intake Manifold) he claims he's gonna get 500HP and make it a 10 second car with the turbo and all that stuff. How in the hell does someone get 500HP from a 4cyl motor? Thats 125HP per cylinder and I figure he's just bragging about his Honda. Is it possible to actually get those numbers from that or is he just in the moment?

Thanks in advance for hearing my rant.
Hope to make some good friends here, as you can see I need more muscle car friends!!

Yes:

But it's expensive. As show, that's a race setup. But they get it.

They're really fickle things at that point. Dude is silly unless he's super rich and doesn't mind potentially paying for grenading his engine, but they do it all the time.

But call BS until he provides the proof, of course.
