Since McLaren is losing Kimi Raikkonen after next season (Raikkonen will be driving for Ferrari), McLaren have to get somebody good. Although there is a talk that Raikkonen might sign with Toyota instead of Ferrari. Toyota is offering him $100 mil for 5 years which is more than Ferrari can offer.
Raikkonen is leaving so McLaren have to get somebody good. Who's better than F1 Champ (Alonso)?
