Ford WRC team

This very important aspect of Ford's involvment in motorsports appears to have been overlooked here on TMS, so I'll try to raise some interest in it myself amongst fellow TMS-ers.

The BP Ford World Rally team is currently in 1st position halfway through the 2007 WRC season, with drivers Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen (both of Finland) in 1st and 3rd place, respectively, in the drivers' standings. It looks like this year belongs to Ford and its all-new Focus RS WRC car, who are expected to take the crown at the end of the season both in the manufacturers' and drivers' championships.

I love watching WRC races on youtube, but other than that I've been extremely unsuccessful in finding them.

Not over looked by me I'm a HUGE Marcus Grönholm fan.
I've mentioned WRC on here before but not many seem to be interested. It's all Nascar
And Speed dropping WRC and the Dakar just goes to show they follow the money trail and could care less about anysport unless it has $$$ attached to it

Heres a link to the WRC Radio I know it's not the same but it is something
http://www.wrc.com/page/RallyRadio/0,,10111,00.html
they are having technical difficulties right now so it's just music but when they are broadcasting the race it's awesome

I really hope Marcus can do it this year..I'm tired of seeing Loeb on the podium lol

I've been following WRC very closely this year.

At one point Loeb seemed unbeatable, especially after suspension for Ford teams after Rally of Portugal.

Key rally was Rally of Italy when Loeb had to retire. After that, Gronholm got huge lead in standings.
