DEI snags Coor's.....but
...now they're being sued, because of it. Anybody read anything on this yet? Seem's Sterling and others have contracts with Coor's. But DEI just snagged them as another sponser. Goodbye Dodge. What about Bud? Do they stay, or go with JR? And will Tony sit out a year, and just keep his dirt track business going? JGR is trying to throw money at him, but it ain't workin'.
Ah yes. Another season ending in termoil.
Soooooooo,, who will drive for HONDA????

Bud will not go with Junior, but it probably won't stay with DEI either. #8 will be driven by Mark Martin and Aric Almirolla next season and their sponsor will be US Army.
I heard that Bud will be sponsor for Kasey Kahne's Dodge next season.

NASCAR is going south in a hurry. Just wait until all the driver changes are made, and then the sponsors will run as well. BUSCH Series is no longer sponsored by BUSCH and they stand to lose a 30M contract over it.

Yeah, Busch series will change their name next year. Busch's contract with NASCAR is expiring at the end of the season.
But Nextel is also gone. Sprint will be main sponsor next year.

They need to look at all of it. The COT is a total Chevy show. I'm not sure ANY COT race has been won by any manufacturer but Chevy. Too much more of that and I'll stop wasting 4 hours every Sunday.
Now I'm not saying I want Ford to win every week. But I'm d_mn tired of seeing them do it.

Ford's problem with COT has been testing. The only real testing done by Fords is done by Roush ans Yates, with a little by Woods. And Yates got off to a real slow start COT testing since they still had problems with the "Old" car. Chevy, on the other hand, could put all of DEI, JGR, RCR, and HR on the test track, or any tracks they could rent time on. All that testing on the brand-new COT was a huge advantage, which sent Ford Racing scrambling. A big reason Yates and Roush are basically married is that they have to pool alot of data to stay competetive.
