The race will be on this Sunday on NBC. So far, Junquiera's on the provisional pole, with Tracy, Bourdais, Wilson, and Tagliani making up the rest of the top 5.

Wonder how long Champ Car can hold onto this race. The IRL wants it bad.

Always like watching the Long Beach race, though. Great history.

We should know in a few weeks. From what I've heard, the city of Long Beach wants to keep the Champ Cars, but Dover, which puts on the race would be happy to accept a big check from Tony George. Toyota, which sponsors the race, runs in the IRL, but then again, there are rumors that they'll be leaving soon to go to Nascar.

Good race, anyway. Can't say that I miss the goofy pit-window rules, and it looked like the best car won. There were a few good passes, which you often don't see on a street circuit. Can't wait to see these guys in Cleveland in a couple months.
