yup if someone said "you take a 2010 or your cat gets it" well I'd take this one. That tunnel around the taillights helps soo much. And that nice clean bumper. Breath of fresh air.
Take notes Ford!

The hood is very nice and an improvement over the 84gt replica hood on the current car.

Agreed. Well at least the best s197.

Maybe Saleen was being dragged down by Saleen? Anyone ever consider that? I have no idea honestly, I'm just asking.

They fixed the only thing I can't stand with the 2010. The rear bumper! Looks great!

wow, never thought i'd say this but that Saleen is gorgeous and is actually an improvement over the original Ford design (which i'm so so on). flows beautifully from front to rear. i'd take that front grill over the stocker any day.

The best looking rear I've seen on a 2010!!! Dont much care for the turn signal plastic inserts in the side of the front facia.

Any ideas on pricing yet? I'm guessing $55,000.

I'm sure Saleen will have several different models, much in-line with what Roush currently offers. Saleen will probably offer a non-supercharged S281 "3V" model which will undoubtedly be in-line, price-wise, with the Roush Stage 2. From there, I'm sure there'll be a Saleen S281 "Supercharged" which will be similar in terms of cost to a Roush 427R. Finally, the top-level Saleen S281 "Extreme" will be Saleen's response to the Roush Stage 3, in terms of both performance and price.

I don't think we quite know what to expect it after the restructuring. Hopefully they will follow a Roush-style pricing structure (different stages). But, they might not. It might be like "before" (really expensive without blower, super expensive with blower, ungodly expensive with built motor and blower).

Hmmm. I keep looking at the pics, and honesty the teasers showed the car's best angles. When viewing it complete, I don't really like it anymore. Have to see it in person/real pics to decid, though. I know I don't like the 1/4 window covers. When viewed from th side profile, it looks very "rear heavy". Like a ricer bodykit missing the front valance. The front is higher than the sideskirts and the sideskirts are higher than the rear bumper. Idk, have to wait and see if it translates better in real pics/life.

What? I am looking at the pictures and don't see anything like you mentioned. The side skirts are the lowest thing on the body work. What are you looking at?

I love the hood scoop. Without it and the bulge it creates this car would look too plain. I also like the side skirts and quarter window treatment.

This to me is by far the best 2010 Mustang I've seen yet. I can't wait to see actual photos from SEMA.

The newest Mustang generation is designed so well, I think it's actually hard to modify it MORE without looking somewhat ridiculous, so Saleen kept it under control from that perspective.

Usually, these cars are plain even at the GT trim level, so every special edition looks special, but nowadays, Ford's doing such a swell job that all the special variants look like a standard Ford product. That's amazing considering the economy and all.
