New 2010 Stage 1 Kona Blue

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. I have owned an 05 GT and an 08 Bullitt before this.

Thanks. No it's just a Stage 1 so appearance stuff only. No mods to speak of yet.

It's funny but most of the "little" stuff we all did to the 05's has already been done by Ford. Plenum cover, nicer A/C and radio *****, shorty antenna, pedal covers, some other stuff I can't think of. They even did the CAI, only the one they included with the 2010 isn't all that great. It's supposed to be modeled on the Bullitt CAI but the Bullitt has a K&N round type filter. I've been looking at getting a different CAI but when I got a CAI and tuner for the 05 I gained around 20 hp at the rear wheels. I doubt I can get more than 15 out of a similar setup for the 2010. I may just get an AirRaid CAI with no tuner. They're claiming 15 HP at the rear wheels without a tune (I have my doubts). In the meantime I may just have the windows tinted. No stripes for this one (first thing I did on my Legend Lime 05 GT was have white shelby stripes painted on). No need to do appearance mods. Roush took care of that.

I know what you mean Ford did much of the exterior mods on my car as well when I purchased it.

How does your exhaust sound? If you look for a good exhaust set up (If you don't have one already) + a good tune that's like a HP gain of anywhere from 30-45 RWHP.

Exhaust sounds pretty good. On the 05 I had put on Flowmasters which were louder than what is on the 2010 and the Bullitt exhaust is just very unique so I did nothing to that car at all. I figure you probably gain 8 hp tops from an axle-back setup of any kind and still only 20 from a CAI and tune. Looking at the C&L website that's about all I see. C&L happens to be on the other side of town from me so I can actually stop in and talk to the head engineer. He installed the CAI on my 05 back when. I'm not sure I can justify $400 or more for a new exhaust and $700 for a CAI and tuner. I actually connected the Diablosport to my 05 a total of 2 times in the 5+ years I owned the car.
