HID Light beams to high?

Any one having trouble with a lot of headlight flashes from on coming cars?

My son was driving in front of me and said when he looked in the mirror it was like looking into the sun, extremely bright. I then got caught at a light and he was able to get a few blocks ahead, but said he knew exactly where I was cause of the glow of the headlights.
:flamethrower:
I am wondering if Roush forgot to adjust the headlights when doing the suspension mod for my Stage 2 or is that something they just don't do?

I have an appointment with the dealer next week to get them checked. Will let you know.

Here's my beast...

Yeah, you will get the hi-beam flash from oncoming cars...the newer Mustang lights are bright.

You can live with it, or modify by putting some tint on the headlights, or take it in to the dealer and have them check headlight alignment/adjust.

The same thing is happening to me. At first I thought that suddenly everyone in our area was being extremely diligent about alerting oncoming traffic of potential speed traps but I would never see a cop. I would think to myself **** they are getting sneaky because they were nowhere to be found! About the 10th time I realized that maybe it's my lights haha. Got a full set of headlight, fog, side-marker, etc. tint on the way from big worm graphix. The whole set was about $110 shipped. I've heard good things about them here and on the svt performance forums.

Dealer did a little downward adjust, now all good

A little late to the party, but it seems that Roush does point the headlights at a higher angle than Ford does. My Roush came the same way, and a buddy of mine confirmed that his came that way as well. A little adjustment down and no noticeable loss in light coverage but far less pissed off people.

I used to get the same thing whenever I'd use my driving lights. Turns out they can be aimed too
