2012 SUPERCHARGED SHELBY GT500



This one-of-a-kind Shelby is finished in Raven black with red LeMans striping to match the 67's iconic heritage. In the true muscle car spirit, Ford Racing has provided a supercharger upgrade to generate an astounding, ground-pounding 750 horsepower, thrusting this already powerful Shelby into supercar status.

Some unique features include a Shelby Super Snake hood and wheels, LeMans stripes, quarter window and side scoops to match the '67, Nitto tires, Steeda shifter and suspension upgrades, and brushed metal door inserts to match the '67.

Very awesome!!!! I wonder what's been altered on the '67???

and also if the inner grille lights were stock like that...because didn't they have to change the grille lights after a couple hundred were produced in order to conform to laws or something???

 

Inboards were standard but a few states have laws that require fog lamps to be 12" from center to center. Its still on the books here in PA. I've never gotten a ticket for my GT with the center fog grill, but I did have a few cops ask me if the lights were stock or not. I believe it was PA and CA that had the outboard fog lamps and everyone else had inboards. I may be wrong though.

 

There is ONE thing and only ONE thing that I hate with the 2012 they are giving out!!! Its something they did to it!!! Anyone wanna guess? Its clear as crystal!!!

I can't believe they did that!!! If you have to put that stupid "WIN ME" tag on it, just put some scotch tape on it for the photo shoot and remove it!!!

 

I just want the S/S hood.. they can keep the car.. It doesn't have Nav.


But of course I'll take the 2012 if they are giving me the '67!

 

My wife thinks I have I have enough Mustangs already, including a '67 fastback, that I should now confess I bought in Nov. 1967 (do the math :-).
Having said that, I'm interested in entering this raffle, as it seems to be legitimate.
I've always been a lucky guy, and I'm just wondering if anyone else here will be entering the raffle too ,...... or should I be told to MYOB?
