If that outcome couldn't have been predicted.
I really want to hate the GT-R. But I can't. It's an incredible car. Just doesn't have or say much about character though.
On another note, I thought the end quotes were interesting, the GT500 is a fraction of the price and is a fraction of the car. Yes, technically these cars all come in at under $100K. But the Vette and GT-R are really knocking on that door. I am assuming Nissan is loosing money with the GT-R. It has to be. Or maybe not. It has many computer systems but really isn't a complicated car.
The GT500 did well and has a lot of soul. It also has a lot of room for improvement. Even the SVT suspension is far from perfect. Not nearly as much time and effort went in to tuning the GT500 chassis as did the GT-R or even Z06.

First off sorry but in my book none of those cars are Super cars by any stretch.

The previous comment has nothing to do with business or the performance level of the participants, it is strictly personal as for me not to assume I have a supercar status, which I could care less about. If I did I would be constantly bragging about it instead I refrain from it as to not create such exact perception. The intent on posting the video was to emphasize the fun factor of three exceptional cars. Nothing more.

I don't consider the Gallardo or the 360 a supercar. The Z06 isn't a super car..it's a powerful fast sports car. I'd consider the Corvette Zr1 closer to a super car. And I'd never in a million years consider a mustang a supercar. To me there are many factors that make a super car and I'm sorry but 500 hp alone doesn't make it.
To me a super car is Merc SLR, Mclaren F1, Zonda F, etc. and the Bugatti Veyron is a hypercar.
These 3 cars are fast sports/pony cars not superccars to me.
I expect thought that answer wont satisfy you. It's my opinion only so I don't expect anyone to agree with me.
And yes it was a cool vid and yes i did enjoy it.

The z06 beats the lamborghini gallardo and the Ferrari 360 in any roll on race!! So how is it not a super car?? I would love an explanation on that! Any new Lamborghini or Ferrari Is a super car! And they get bet by the Z06 so that makes it a super car killer! Please enlighten me.... :-)
a supercar isn't just about being fast in a straight line, its about being ridiculous. its about being a mid engined, ludicrous car that has no function but to go fast (in a straight line and otherwise) and be **** fine looking while its at it. and at that same time, draping the interior with fine leather and other high quality materials. its a precision built thing that isn't made for the masses.
the Z06 is an amazing sports car. but its just that, a sports car. its a "bang for your buck" speed machine, not a finely and exquisitely built exotic. just look at the steering wheel. i can totally see why someone would buy one over a supercar, especially for the money. it would be a fantastic track car. hell, i probably would take it over most newer ferraris, but its not a supercar. i don't even feel every ferrari is a supercar. i look at a front engined ferrari as a grand tourer, rather than a supercar.

Nope i don't. Not nearly crazy enough. Tht's not to say I don't like them..well I don't the 360 but I love the Gallardo. They just are not supercars to me. They are great sports cars.

We sure can. But I highly recommend going to vegas and paying your 1500 and renting a 360 modena and after your done and you can stop shaking and your massive erection goes down and your heart and stomach return to your body and back to normal them make a thread on here about how super the Ferrari 360 Modena supercar is!
