Sub for Shaker 500 with Navi
Finally found a good fit for the Shelby. It is a Rockford Fosgate 300 watt / 12" sub box. Used the high level inputs and tapped the back two speakers for inputs. There is a very easy to get to grommet for getting power through the firewall. It is right in front of the driver about knee level.
Here is the finished product.

How does it sound? I am planning to make use of the empty spare tire slot and custom fab a box for my 10" rockford down there. I have the HE2 DVC which is a 1000 watt speaker with a 1000 watt monoblock amp to push it... Definately going to need to upgrade the mids and highs inside the car!

I came over from the Shaker 1000 in my old 2005 Mustang GT. I put in a Pioneer Avic Z3 with the stock speakers and it sounded great.
The sub carries plenty of low end and can overpower the mids and highs if the boost is turned up too high on the sub. As many have said, I should probably swap out the factory speakers to clean up the sound a bit.
As it sits, I am very happy with the sub. Two Hundred and change and now I have BASS. Easy install to boot.
