Yes, it's new and '14. 34 miles on her. I am 47 and this will be my first Mustang, I already txted the salesman last night that I would be in today to get her.

Thanks, will post pics when I get her home.

Thank you. I won't be doing anything to it except for a serious audio upgrade. In this one for the long term, will post progress though.
THANKS JEFF

Keeping the stock head unit and putting a sound processor in(not sure yet which), but 8" mid subs in the doors along with components, front and rear. 2 10 W5s in the trunk with the amps mounted in tire well with plexi over it. Subs up near the rear seats, so I can keep most of the trunk. Yes, Alpine x series Amps, and Probably JBL components.

Sounds like a good build. I'd skip the rear speakers and spend more money on better front comps. With the 8s in the doors, you just don't need the rears.

I'm planning: Audison bit one or bit ten D, my Audison LRx5.1k that I have laying around, either JL ZR 8s or Dayton Reference or Scanspeak Classic 8s, Focal K2P or Flax (depending on pricing) and my 2 12" DIYMA R12s mounted infinite baffle so I keep my entire trunk.

I'm actually thinking about mounting the processor behind or below the factory radio, since they're tiny, and then possibly mounting the amp in the passenger footwell, but kinda up and hidden. This would shorten ALL the connections, minus the sub speaker cable run, and it would add a little bit of blue glow to the passenger footwell, which will already have the blue glow from the factory ambient lighting.

If not, I'll probably mount the amp under the rear deck where the rear speakers normally would be, but it would just be so much easier to have a short run of power/ground/RCAs to the amp with it being up front, especially since the battery is on the passenger side.

You should get an aftermarket head unit... Will help give more power to those new speakers.

And I mean who doesn't like the new features of a new head unit? That's where the whole experience derives from!

But then again I do have a backup camera with my double din...

Will definitely be watching this thread. Excited for you! I know when I got my mustang, within the first week my camera, head unit, amp and 12 alpine type R were installed. Mach 460 speakers do great too!
