Registration renewal

My registration renewal is here and I'm pleasantly surprised. Only 420.00 w/personalized plate.

Guess life in Cali is expensive. I paid $96.00 total for my 2011 GT and my wife's 2009 Passat.

Wow, I would be surprised and not pleasantly, under $80 here (probably a little more personalized).

My registration for a year is $834. Pick your poison, we have no sales or income tax in New Hampshire. The money has to come from somewhere!

I was kind of surprised mine wasn't in the 6 hundreds for the first renewal. Last years registration for my '96 was 140.00 for a 14 yr old car.

$59 here in NJ. My daily driver was $42. We make up the difference in property taxes...

Here in MN older cars are 45 flat rate and new cars are really high depending on what it is, my old dodge d350 was almost 700 because it's classed as a work truck, even though I didn't use it as one

Dang, Missouri has it good! Mine is $36.75 (twice that if I choose a 2yr renewal) for normal plates on my '11 gt500. A little odd because my 07 Ram is $41.75...

Ohh we do have yearly property tax on vehicles...I think it was about $600 on the gt500.

As the vehicle gets older, the registration fee drops. My 2001 BMW 330ci was $80 to register last year before I replaced it with my Shelby.

Just renewed on my birthday last month. $199 covered all four of our cars. $49/per car, no matter the age or value, although in a couple more years my Miata will qualify for historic plates which are even less expensive.
