Pulling Trigger, Which Options?
Alright guys, I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on a 2012 GT500. I have an opportunity to use A plan pricing so I might just do it. Now I'm looking at options.
I know I want a black stripe delete w/ glass roof. But all the other options are up for grabs. Which would you go with?

Glass roof no
EP yes
Recaro no doesn't match the back seat, I would only get them in the boss with the rear delete, so I guess that's the LS
Car cover HECK NO
I will say if you do get the glass roof the strip delete is a must.

Ya I know I def want the Glass roof... sat in a 500 w/ it, its just too cool. lol
EP I'm leaning towards
Recaros I was leaning towards until I found out they are manual... that kinda sucks, and your right, they don't really match. Also, couldn't you just add them later if you wanted?
PP I just don't really know... it sounds sweet, but its also pretty steep.

I guess one of the biggest costs in the PP is the wheels and tires.
Are you sure you would be happy with those forever. It would be silly to get them and just swap them out after a year.
I agree on the Recaros. The GT500 should be a comfortable cruiser. The Recaros are nice I'm sure. I've got something similar I'm my R, but the GT500 is a different type of car.

SVTPP, Electronics Package. I didn't care for the Recaros, I wanted power (wish you could get both seats power and heated, that still pisses me off in a car like this) and I didn't find them comfortable for my size at the time, especially for a car that I didn't intend to track. They also made ingress and egress more difficult for me personally with the side bolsters and no power, but that's a mobility issue most wont have.

Wish we could A plan one here in Hawaii. We pay a premium since only a few are ever brought out here. Here is what I have...
Performance White with red stripes
PP
Recaro seats
Car Cover
Since the my sync can link to my phone why spend extra for the same thing? Hope you get what you want!!! Coconut

Black 2012 stripe delete with glass roof
I purchased a black 2012 GT500 on x-plan at the end of June. I ordered stripe delete with glass roof and electronics pkg. This is a daily driver, making the electronics pkg. a must. The base cars seats are very comfortable and are power. In my opinion, you don't need the recaro's unless you get SVTPP. This really comes down to, do I want SVTPP or not?
The PP has a little harsher ride, the tires are more expensive, and you have to change these tires more frequently due to the soft compound. Although I love the look of the PP, it didn't make sense for me as a daily driver.
As far as the glass roof goes, it's really nice, and it was a compromise since my wife wanted a convertible.
Although I went with black and stripe delete for the stealth look, I still get tons of attention, from all kinds of people.
You can run, but you can't hide!
