George,

I'm not sure what he paid but it's probably listed somewhere on the Shelby site. I thought they were 80k+.

I think they are $33K plus the cost of the GT...I actually like the GT500 over the 350.

Great looking car for the nostalgia set. I'd perfer a more modern rendition but I can still appreciate a really nice clean look.

For $33k, I would imagine they can at least give you a better gauge pod.

But I guess that's the theme of the package, a bunch of gaudy plastic screwed onto the car.

But hey, at least the owner's as happy as a bug in a rug. Good for him.

FRPP suspension, $2000...FRPP over the counter supercharger kit, $7000... Gaudy plastic screwed on the car with silly looking wheels, $30,000...Look of pure joy on the owners face, priceless.

The guy is happy and that is what matters.

This car is for those with lots of dough and have seen J Leno showing off the original, which I am surprised he has not gotten one.

Yes, all that matters is he's enjoying it. It also seems like this guy has lots of cash so buying the GT350 is no big deal for him. He said he's contacted Top Gear and is even willing to pay the shipping of the car over to the UK for the car to be on their show.

Here's 3 more pages of pics-
