I hope it doesn't hurt the resale value.

Dudes over here got CARB holdouts on programs. Transmissions falling off. Starving kids in indonesia. And you crying about a scratched key. Hell I got rock chips! It sure beats a poke in the eye.

****, that's rough...I don't even know if you can get a salvage title now. The car's pretty much trash. I'll buy it from you for $5 though, just to help you out...

A Shelby Key?

You have a Shelby key? Does it say Shelby or have a snake on it? I've got a 2012 GT500 and it only has a mustang on the Key. Is this because I bought the car on x-plan? Or maybe instead of asking Ford for an official Shelby key, I should keep my mouth shut and count my blessings. This will certainly increase the value of my car because of this production mistake, making it quite rare. I do have a second GT500 key with the mustang logo on it. Shall we start the bidding at let's say, $10,000? Rarity has it's price. Serious inquiries only.

It is really all Ford's fault. I bet the key was made in China and only scratched because of inferior materials. I would demand Ford replace the key, and no rebuilt one either. A new key or nothing... Demand a NHTSA investigation now!

1. I care about people. When you wash your own car, you take a job away from someone.
2. The 25.00 I pay to have someone hand wash it is a lot less than my time is worth.

Until you pay for that new key.

As for me, anyone else washing my car is like condoning adultery. Has nothing to do with time or money.
