That sounds like a good idea - arrive in force !!!! My wife is working second shift on Saturday. She may choose to come drive over separately in our SUV or we'd have to leave early.

She's a cop with Madison P.D. (). (I can just see the comments now...).

I'll find out tonight what the plans are. Do you live in Huntsville or Madison?

My wife and I drove 100 miles south to Birmingham, AL for a Saleen Mustang meet (various 'stangs, Saleens, Rousch and a track Cobra there) and it rained hard on us halfway through so the drive back was a wet one.

This morning, I noticed the car had almost no dirt sticking to it - it looked like it had just been washed. This Blackfire stuff is absolutely brilliant! Everything just sheets off the car.

So as not to start another thread (and since these are in the same vein), my four-week clean-up. Haven't had a lot of time (been busy with life) and still only 700 miles on the odo, but the thing is still other-worldly fast. It cleans up nicely. This is with a clear bra over the entire hood, entire front bumper, entire front quarter panels and the mirrors. 30% tint all the way around (except for the windshield, of course). Just a wash and one coat of Meguiar's Ultimate.

Looks great! Mine just broke the 1,000 mile barrier the other day. It is so much fun to drive.

Are these after-market stripes?

No, stock stripes. Hood struts are the only major mod thus far. By the way, I like the stripes better but yours is so much better looking than I thought stripeless would be. Kudos and big congrats.

Brrr. I see you are up in Manitoba. That Shelby comes with summer tires you know! The temptation will be overwhelming when you get it. I think I read somewhere that temps of 50F or above is recommended so don't expect decent handling below that -- as for snow, no way!!

I'm one month into mine and absolutely love it. Being a Scot, I can appreciate the scenery you have up there so you have many fine months of driving ahead of you -- just maybe not for a few months!

Cheers!

Lawrence

I was talking with the RCMC president Saturday and he said that the members are meeting up in the Star Market car park that morning (not sure what time) And then driving over. Star Market is on Hwy 72 at Wall Triana and is close to where we live.

Do you want to meet there? What time were you planning on going? I would think earlier the better for prime position :-)

And before that it was Bruno's. Star Market is actually on the east side of the junction and southern family market is on the west. I am sure he said Star Market but I will check.
