Yes we did. A long time ago.

Something tells me you wouldn't be saying that if you were 50k in back in 2007 rather than 55k now. Just saying.

The best lines on the 2010+ are not the tail light but the grille, fender lines and rear quarter and I'm bias I know and yes I have a new one. I love all mustangs though and I like each mustangs style for different reasons

I think everyone agrees that the front and hips are great.... but carrying around a diaper under those euro-lights has a lot of us in agony.

I think you meant "had" for "were" if so, I did have it. There are a few things on the 07 I didn't like. The factory wheels are hideous, the truck side mirrors, the interior center console is a giant negative and even the parking brake was an eye sore and of course the dull rear end.

What are you talking about "diaper" The new mustang has a perfect body and the tail lights are shaped perfectly for the sequential turn signals and look fresh and new, while still holding onto the original look.

Too many direction changes on the back end. Smooth it out, make it more "dull" and it'd be much better. It's a discussion that was beat to death 2+ years ago...

You really are in the wrong forum for picking this fight.
The rear end on the 10+ is AWFUL! Naturally you will defend what you own but it's no muscle car rear end.
I don't even like the hips on the rear quarters, they just kinda pop up and don't really flow with the line of the car.
But I'm glad you like it.

The folks in this forum know which model year is the true retro muscle car.

Sooner or later you guys will come to appreciate the 2010+ it will just take a little time. I do own a 2005, but it's my son's car. In 89 I would've killed anyone who said my fox was ugly and when the SN-95 came out I hated it HATED IT. Two years later it grew on me and I purchased a 96 and loved it more than my 89. The new edge never appealed to me, so that got skipped. I purchased the 2005 mostly because I wanted a new car and even though I didn't care for a few things on it, I would eventually give it to my son. IMO the 2010+ is absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing.

Funny how we all have different tastes in styling. I NEVER liked any Fox body Mustang, though I thought they were a slight improvement over the Mustang II. The Jelly Bean SN95 was OK, but still not "right"... New Edge are actually pretty cool looking, but S197 are my favorite style since the '70 model. The '10+ is OK, but I still prefer '05-'09 aesthetically.

*** ends on 2010+ are not nearly as nice as 05-09 those tail lights where designed by an asian man for sure.
