Just picked up a 2011 GT500 SVTPP

The car is going to stay stock (ok window tint only) because man is it good. I didn't really think the 2011 with the SVTPP was that big of an upgrade but it is. I don't even feel the need to swap the mufflers at the moment. Best part of all I got great trade value on my 2010 SHO and only paid invoice for the GT500.

Very nice. Thats my next car once I get tired of my blk 2011 GT. Congrats man, I would keep it stock too no need to do anything to those GT500's.

Enjoy!

Those are the Goodyear Supercar G2 tires. Man do they stick when they get hot.

Awesome choice! Welcome to the "no stripe" club! I always thought that color looked great with the svtpp wheels! Yes the tires are a night and day difference in cold vs hot weather...you will enjoy!

It's the best performance and balanced Mustang I've ever driven. As you'll find or have found out, it can handle but you have to be careful with the steering as it seems to be over sensitive, a bit too responsive to what I am used to and the exhaust note is perfect at idle, low RPMS, or WOT. No need to go aftermarket unless you want it to sound like a truck.

Welcome back, I knew you would... eventually.

I love the stealth look, it's perfect. Enjoy!

I love this car! I have seen one other like this and IMO it's the best of everything. If I wasn't retiring next year I might go looking for the same identical car. Congratulations~

Looks great! Far cry from that Kona GT you were looking at, but a solid car nonetheless.

You know you'll mod it, just don't talk about it on here! LOL.

Looks great! I couldn't agree more with you both. I picked one up a few weeks ago, and George hit it on the head. I've had a lot of Mustangs through the years and this one is without a doubt the most complete package of any of them. There is really nothing I've found that I would change on it. It may not be for everyone, but it hits every mark for what I want in a Mustang.

I also noticed that the PP went up $500 on the '12s for some reason.

I have to agree so far this is the most balanced Mustang I've ever driven. I love the exhaust note. I've had much louder aftermarket setups but this gives me that right tone and the right times but can also be relaxing for long drives. So far I found the steering to be very good. In fact the 2012 GT on the sport setting and the 2011 GT500 feel about the same. It's just the GT has body roll and this really doesn't. The car feels like it's on rails and not really any heavier than the GT. My 2010 GT500 even with the FRPP springs felt like it was going to plow ahead in the front regardless of the direction I was turning. This car is very confidence inspiring so far.

No, unless you call Fords overpriced parts greed. They added new stabilizer bars to the front and rear in the 2012 performance package.
