It fits great. I like the side bolsters on my love handles. Keeps them all tight and in place.

After several attempts I finally found the perfect seating position. It is a bit of a booger to get in and out of. But they all are. I must be getting old. It puts a strain on my left knee to get bend down low enough to get my head under the roof when I get in. I get much older and I'm gonna have to sit in it first and then move my legs in like an old lady.

 

how do u like the glass roof? And does your screen jam when its cold inside the car?

 

They were too tight on my sides back when I bought it. Probably not now, but I have a tendency to get big again so I passed. And I had a hard time getting in with my back.

 

The glass roof is so freakin awesome. Best decision I made. The Shaker sound system is crap. I freaking hate it. I also regret not getting electronics package if only to have dual zone climate control and some sort of auto function. I am so used to using the auto temp function in the Raptor and the Navigator I hate not having it in the Shelby.

But for me the rear taillights and the glass roof make this car for me. Also am very glad with the Recaros. And while I second guessed the color forever I am happy with that now too.

The black and white contrast is something that really makes the car for me. It's a combo I first noticed on the 07-09 GT/CS cars and knew it'd look good on these too.

The screen? It's open. Not sure I'll ever close it. I've got a full head of hair. No sunburn on my cranium here.

Btw, I say you call her Lucky. Temp fate. It's probably one of the last '13 GT500s built, and with your collection, I'd say you're a pretty lucky guy.

Yeah just leave the screen as is. If someone does close it and it jams, turn on the heater for a few mins and it should close right up

I know you haven't driven it much, but what do you think about the new interior over the 05-09? I was blown away by the touch and feel, not to mention the sound and isolation from the road aspect.

 

No Shaker Pro. That's the subs in the trunk right? Didn't want the extra weight and I've got Seven for the loud music and the boom boom as Arin calls it.

Just the Shaker. Wow it is abysmal.

 

Oh well. I thought the Nav screen would be dated in a few years and I was pushing the limits of all reason with the price of the car as it was. Chose the roof over the EP.

I need more daytime driving in it There are subtle things that I've noticed so far. Like the disappearing cup holders similar to my 2010 Taurus. And the window buttons on the door are in a lower position because the door arm slopes downward at the front. The positioning and height of the center console seems perfect for me. Much less noticeable as it should be. The 07 feels clumsier. I reached out and touched the dash and it was soft which was cool. really the only hard plastic I've noticed is the doors. Haven't looked at the a-pillars yet to see if they are fabric covered like the SHO was.

I need some daytime seat time.
