Now that I think about it none of the press photos show anything under the hood. I wonder where else they shed some weight if the 300lb loss is true... I'm thinking maybe more use of aluminum or perhaps even some carbon fiber bits here and there????

I personally would add another 100 back into the equation and give us an IRS so that the Slo-par and Chevy boys can shut up.

Oh PS I'm going to the Providence Auto Show this weekend. The new 10' Mustang is rumored to be there I'll try to get some info on the GT500 if I can...

UPDATE: aluminum block will show up for 2011MY. I would take it with a grain of salt though.

Well, what's the scoop. Try to get some pictures of under the car. Tackle some people, create a distraction, and pop the hood damit.... I wanna know!

I don't know where I saw it...........but I was watching a video of the GT500 at the show and the reporter said the hood was closed because Ford didn't want anyone to see the engine yet. Why....the suspense is killing me!!!!
