Question How much do/will you drive your Shelby?

Just wondering how much everybody who has or will have a GT500 drives their car. When I finally get mine, it'll be a most nice days/weekend car and probably only be put away when it snows or for a bad storm. It's definitely not going to be a garage queen. I know some people use them as daily drivers and other people only take theirs on perfect days.

My 2007 has been a Daily Driver since the economy & cost cutting got my Company truck. It was to be weekend driver. Gettin close to 30K on the odometer, No Issues and or Problems to speak of. Of Course it's parked 50 ft from my office every day so it's always under observation. Just replaced the Eagles with BFG KDW's The Fronts were still good but the backs were getting mighty thin! Averages 19 mpg on my 60 mile per day back road highway commute.

I will drive it every days of spring, summer and most of fall. Winter is not an option here in Quebec.

At the office it will be parked 30' from me, as my desk is right in front of a window who in turns is right in front of my parking spot !! (Being the boss helps here !!)

Mine will be in the garage under cover when not in use. No salt on the roads, no bad weather, but she will see the track...Both strip and road course. My '06 GT has just 19,000 miles in 3 years... I expect a little less on the Shelby as the first year with the GT it was my only car...

Mine was a daily driver with multiple long distance trips. Now, not intentionally, it has become more of a weekend car. My other half travels for work a lot of weeks, so I've been driving her car during the week while she's gone.

Buy it, Drive it, Enjoy it. I almost got one a couple of months ago but it was sold right under my nose...Jerk car dealer! It woudl have been my DD and I would drive it as much as possible. I wouldnt spend that kind of money just for it to sit in my garage. But then again I don't have the luxury of having that option.

100% garage queen! Only perfect days. Short drives. 937.3 miles to date. Since July 7th, 2009. Arrived with 87.3 miles, delivered with more than that! Oh well.

6500 miles so far since Jun 09. It's not a daily driver but it will be driven often from spring to late fall.

Drive it all the time. In Florida we don't have any real winter issues, but the odd flash flood does happen. I think it is fine as a daily driver don't understand why you would get one and not drive it but to each their own.

Talking

Got 4500 on it since I bought it on 9/11/12. It's not my DD but not a garage queen either. Half of that was done in the first couple of months because I couldn't wipe that grin off my face!

Have had mine since June 2012, 4700 miles later with roll racing, drag racing and track racing days in between that. Even a few car shows and such.....I am enjoying every minute

I will drive mine daily in good weather. I expect my enjoyment will come from the road, not the garage.

Mines a second car so I drive it for fun when I have time, I got it in August of 2012 ... I guess I don't have much free time because I only have 1500 miles on it, but they were all awesome!! Except maybe the first 5

I have two toys that I split time with on nice days and weekends.

Cars never intentionally are driven in the rain and are parked from Halloween to April.

However both of them get about 3000 miles a year. Last year I put 800 miles on the Shelby on one round trip to Shelbyfest.

Going back again this year as well. May even take it to Sturgis for Labor Day.
