How fast is the 2013 Shelby GT500 in each gear?

Someone asked me this the other day and I recall reading that the max in 1st gear is 62mph (at 7,000 rpm) and its max speed of 202mph is achieved in 5th gear -- but what about 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th (the "overdrive" one?

Anyone got the official numbers? (or unofficial ones? )

You could drive around town in 1st and pretend you have an automatic!

But seriously, I think 3.73s will be one of my first mods. Gonna have to check if you can do the 1/4 and stay in 3rd with 3.73s.

It is in excel format. If you have Microsoft Excel, I can send you the spreadsheet file. If anyone knows how to post an .xls file, let me know and I will do it.

Not sure about a public post of an Excel file but members could PM you with their email address - that would work. You would probably need to either zip it or rename the extension to avoid it getting blocked, however. That is if you don't mind revealing your email address privately to specific members!

Snoopy, I just now relocated this thread on my PC in order to download ur Excel program, but I'm too late! I saw it on my iPad when u first posted it but could not download it there. It looks like we could PM unless there is any problem or difficulty.

You are one of our best sources of info on many subjects! Do you know how much rear tire size +/- change should require an ECU change?

Thanks

I'm in the same boat - where did the attachment go? Was it pulled by the moderator?
