I was messing around today with my new Kodak Playsport Pocket HD Cam. I did a quick walk around video of my car. I figured why not share it with the rest of the The Mustang Source. I'm planning on taking some videos of my car on the dyno this week. As well as get some videos of the Pypes Pipe Bomb Exhaust.

Yeah it doesn't do too bad. I'm going to shoot 1080P next time. I realized that YouTube only does 30FPS so the extra smoothness is lost doing the 720P 60FPS mode.

Yeah, lol. He cut it off after he realized I was taking a video. At the time I didn't care because it was just a test. I'm going to be using this camera to take my dyno runs next week. Along with doing a review of the Pypes Pype Bomb Exhaust.

 

That camera does a good job. Very clear. It should work nicely for dyno runs or maybe a little burnout vid.


How big is the camera? Similar to the flip video cameras?

 

Yup about the same size. It's made for more rugged activity and is waterproof up to 3 meters.

 

Ok, here is a quick video of me turning the car on and getting on it. I couldn't go full throttle because I was in my grandmothers retirement community. I'll do a better video this week.

If you do get at least a 4GB SDHC card that is Class 4 or Class 6. That way you can do at least 1 hr. of video at 720P 30FPS. You'll get about 45 minutes at 1080P 30FPS.

 

What's the max size SDHC card that camera will take?
