Grabber Blue GT500
Grabber Blue GT500
Grabber Blue in photos doesn't look very good to me, I've read it just doesn't photo well. I've seen a few GB mustangs around town and the color hasn't appealed to me. Well today I'm at a local dealer looking at their GT500's and for some reason the SVTPP GB really catches my eye.
I've seen their GB car several times and the color did nothing for me but today it just "popped". Maybe it was the weather. It was a beautiful sunny autumn afternoon and the car looked awesome! Previously I liked the Kona Blue they had on the lot but today the GB seemed to steal the spotlight. I even liked the narrow SVTPP stripes, which I had not been a fan of.
Anyway, I'm liking the GB now.

I didn't like Grabber Blue at first, but now i'm leaning on that color for me next Mustang. People I show the color in pictures to don't like it, and it definately looks better in person. My sister didn't like the looks of it either until she came out of a store here in town and there was one parked next to her with white stipes. She thought the white made a big difference on it and likes the look of it that way.
It's the stripes. I know. They really make it stand out. GB doesn't look as wild when it's by itself. The stripes really accentuate the color.

It's all about personal preference. Buy only the color you want the most; otherwise, you'll be wondering it about too many times, long after the sale.
Personally, white doesn't define the edges and some of the sheet metal workings to the eye as well as other colors. When I first saw GB, I thought who would be nuts enough to buy this car??? Don't bother posting a reply. The GB is a nice color that never photographs well. It's a sharp color in my opinion that can't be mistaken for other colors. And it shows all the nice lines on the sheet metal just perfectly.
Good luck with your purchase.
Here's a couple more of my stripe free Shelby:

I gotta disagree with you on that. Black, alloy and silver GT500's are the only ones I like with the stripe delete. To me white and grabber blue look the worst without stripes. They just look unfinished without the stripes.
