Ford Fashion police no black/GB

No Black with GB stripes allowed? I figured that to be one of the best combos especially with the matching GB stripes on the seats

Say what? I think the combo looks awesome. You're talking about the Shelby, right - or are/were the grabber accents Ford options?

Besides, aren't the striped dealer-added?

We are having our stirpes added by the dealer...just for the same (stupid ford fashion police) issue. The stripes added at the dealer should be in the same price range as the factory. My wife wanted the over the roof wide white stripes of the GT500 on her DIB GT.

I think Ford even has a web site for optional striping (like the ones in the mustang commercial) available for dealer install, and it does not limit the color combinations. I think they are all 3M wraps.

They don't charge for factory stripes on the 500, but if you're adding them they're not cheap. Good deal if you can get the dealer to foot the bill.

Is 450 expensive or cheap?

Plus, the factory wont put the double wide white GT 500 on a GT prem....she would get the GT 500...but it is only a stick which she does not want on a DD.

Will post pics when we pick it up in a couple weeks.

I've never paid for striping but maybe some of these guys who have can answer.
It seems a bit high, but not too bad.

It is a whole lot cheaper than buying a GT 500...and trying to find a high strength automatic transmission.
