FWIW, I bought mine (SVTPP only option besides stripe delete) for $5520 off MSRP, about 10% discount. Good luck with your purchase.

There's always a price for a vehicle. The problem may be the price the buyer is willing to pay is far below the price the seller is willing to accept.

The guy in Albany returned my email....$54K....seems high to me. I want one..but not at that price. Back in search of....might end up buying one locally with red stripes. The red stripes are starting to grow on me. Still like the grabber blue with the white stripes. Don't really need the nav...

Aren't the stripes vinyl? If you found at white you can remove the stripes with no problem. Then you'll just have striped seats

There's a white/red stripe one at my local dealer. Only GT 500 I've seen on the lot or showroom all year.

I'm about 2 hours south of Houston though. I'd be glad tp pick you up at the local airport and drive you to the dealer.

Not sure what kind of deal you can get though.

Is there a dealer on here that will locate a car for you or is that on the GT500 website? Can't seem to locate his information. He has access to all ford dealers up and down the coast.

You could use edmunds.com to locate dealer inventories nearby (use usps.com for zip codes of nearby cities) or for any city of interest.

If you're looking for a GT500 w/only the SVTPP option, it stickers at $52,990. You'll need to find a dealer that wants to sell the car to you (to keep his allocation for next year and the upcoming Boss) rather than sell to another dealer.

It appears many of the available 2011 GT500s are equipped with navigation and SVTPP but you can find the right one for you with some searching on the internet.

Good deals are available, if you can barter effectively. Lastly, you can buy a brand new GT500 slightly above 'invoice' with a bit of effort and if you're persistent, slightly below 'invoice'.

How far are you willing to travel to buy your GT500?

If I could find a silver or gray pp car with red stripes for near invoice I'd be hard pressed not to buy it. The only reason why I don't pursue one is that I'm waiting for the 2012's and the Recaros.

I was going to travel to Albany NY..which is about 400 miles away....so I am open. Invoice or close to invoice is rather easy..under invoice is a challenge.

It has not been sold, just as I predicted. Am I smat or whot?

...

You are aware it is back on eBay, right?

...

And you are aware it is reserved for one guy, right?

...

That baby has your DNA written all over it and you don't have to answer the first question.

I remember a car buying story on an F150 forum where a guy couldn't get the local dealer to sell him his dream truck that was sitting on the local dealer's lot. He called another Ford dealer a few hundred miles away, told him what he wanted and where it was. He ended up buying that exact truck, from the far away dealer, significantly cheaper than the local dealer wanted for it, picked it up from the local dealer.

Maybe you can try the same tactic if the perfect GT500 is sitting at your local dealer.
