Does anyone here actually own a grabber blue car?

in thinking about colors, there are a lot of good choices...but the press pics of the car in grabber blue had me sitting awake in bed last night wondering if I could actually own / drive such a beast.

I'd appreciate feedback...I've seen grabber blue in person a few times, but mostly only on rental car convertible v6's it seems. it's certainly a bit 'out there'...

I have one. I still think the color is awesome! It isn't retina burning bright like a yellow or orange is (which I like both). It has an old school pastel look to it but still looks modern. It is also an easy color to live with. I think Ford uses it in all the promotion pics because it is a heritage Ford color?

I rank Grabber Blue right on top along with Highland Green and MystiChrome. The one thing to keep in mind is there are different shades of the color depending on lighting as seen on posted photos.

We're thinking alike................

But Grabber may be better suited to dark stripes instead of the white; but in any case the wider stripes are preferred. The 2012 Boss 302 in Grabber Blue sold at Barrett Jackson last January to benefit JDRF looked awesome in GB and black.

How about Deep Impact Blue (J4) which is new for 2013. I posted in this forum and got some good feedback about this color. See https://themustangsource.com/f767/wh...503088/index4/ # 69.

I've sent an email to Ryan asking when they'll start receiving any 2013's V-6's and GT's in this color.

Like you, most of my experience is seeing GB rental convertibles with black tops; but in photos the GB coupes do look awesome.

I love grabber blue a lot. However, below is my wife's pony, so I can't see having two grabber blues in our driveway, which is why I'm getting a Competition Orange Boss!

I'd take it just as it was at the show (expect with the real motor ;-)...black stripes and glass roof and all. that is one good looking mustang.

I love mine. It's a real head turning color, but not annoyingly overt.

people here have done a pretty good job of capturing the color. But it is hard to photograph just right.

Since I also have a '70 Mach 1 428CJ in Grabber Blue with black hood stripes I have been thinking about adding a matching new Stang to the fleet. I have been holding out since Ford didn't see fit to put anything but white stripes on this color until now. Well, that's only partially true if you don't count the GT/CS. Problem is now I can't decide between a base Boss 302 and a GT500.

Grabber Blue is the BEST color in my opinion. I prefer the white stripes but black looks pretty good as well

John- Get it. I absolutely love that color. My plan is to get a GB GT convertible in a couple of years and make a black '12 striped Boss clone convertible out of it. People can't heckle you for having a Boss clone if you have a Boss right?

Get it. You only live once!

we all know...

that if you have a Boss, people can't heckle you at all ;-)

opinions on the color noted...and accounted for.

since it would be a sort of 'you only live one' car...GB it just might be.

Grabber Blue Love

If anyone wants a zip file with the high-res pix (3624x1840) of the 2013 GB Boss from the NEIAS that was in Boston last month, shoot me a PM with your email. They make great desktop backgrounds. I'm considering getting a large print of this one made;

While I originally was looking at getting a Kona Blue GT500, I do not regret getting my Grabber Blue one instead. Much better from an cleaning upkeep perspective and it gets lots of looks and attention.
