I've never tried to go over 132 mph, that was pretty darn fast,I have heard once a car reaches over 180 that spot to 200 is pretty hard to reach because of resistance..

But once you get past the 200mph mark, nothing is ever the same.

Wrong again.
The GT500 was quicker by a half second.

Wrong again that was a 2010 Shelby in that video.

The boss beating the standard gt by over 2 seconds says it all though. Incredible car for the money. I have a magazine article that 5.0 mustang did on the boss and i was amazed at how little they left untouched from the standard gt.

I think they got all the model years wrong. There was no 2011 Boss 302. And the 2010 GT500 did not come with those narrow (track pack) stripes.

I think the video is also wrong! In the video it says the Boss is a 2011... arent they only 12-13's? Also the GT500's only had narrow stripes (as a SVTPP)in 2011-2012...they didn't make narrow stripe gt500's in 2010. So I'm pretty sure the gt500 in the video is a 2011.

I think they must've went with CY (calender year) and not MY (model year). So they used a CY 2011 V6, GT and Boss, and a CY 2010 GT500 (which is actually the MY 2011 with aluminum engine and SVTPP). The CY 2011 GT500 was not released at the time the video was made. Confusing as hell I know but that's how it breaks down.

Doh! Should of just kept my mouth shut. I didn't even pay attention to the year on the boss. My bad.

Hmmmm... never paid to much attention to the Boss in the video, now I see its an LS, how does the standard Boss fair against the GT and GT500?

Whammer! I am amazed!

Your effort regardless of time comsumption and perseverance are nothing less than commendable! A second can be a dynamic difference, can it not? I was wrong by one second and the LS is second best. It is all relative.

Thanks for the lesson, professor!
