Hi Guys
On the new 2011 GT500 with the new rear end cover did ford move the breather off the axle tube part of the housing and up on to the cover to stop the oil from coming out of the breather ?

I think there is a breather pointing up on the top right side (if looking at the back of the car) of the diff cover. I say "I think" because it was a tight squeeze and I couldn't see it directly. It felt like a loose metal cap you could wiggle around...as to allow it to breath but not let in contaminates? Maybe someone else (maybe with a lift!)can confirm.

I have put the New GT500 rear end cover on my car and there a breather that gose in the top of cover . What i'am seeing is if i go for a good hard drive in a canyon iam getting oil to come out the breather cap on the axle tube and gose all over the out side of the axle tube housing . I'am thinking of pluging the stock one now that i have a sec. breather in the cover to stop the oil for coming out the darn breather on alxe tube form hight G load going around corner . I'am just trying to check to see if that what ford with the 2011 GT 500 and the new cover . Talk to some guys with GT 500 that did some track days and they had the same trouble with oil coming up out the breather on the axle tube .

I should add that the guys had per 2011 GT500 cars before they came out with the new cover .
