Any truth to rumour Ford is holding up ZL1?

There's a posting on Camaro5.com that says the so called QC hold is because Ford informed Eaton that the contract for the Shelby forbids them supplying a direct competitor, the ZL1 for example. So the cars built and sitting in Oshawa are illegal. And since GM can't test and certify a new unit it's come down to Lawyers to free the cars from the QC hold.





Oh wait. I started that rumour on C5 and I completely made it up. Would be great if it were true though. LOL.
