Any truth to rumour Ford is holding up ZL1?

There's a posting on Camaro5.com that says the so called QC hold is because Ford informed Eaton that the contract for the Shelby forbids them supplying a direct competitor, the ZL1 for example. So the cars built and sitting in Oshawa are illegal. And since GM can't test and certify a new unit it's come down to Lawyers to free the cars from the QC hold.
Oh wait. I started that rumour on C5 and I completely made it up. Would be great if it were true though. LOL.

I had to go over there to check that out, and came across this in another thread from a few days ago....
God I hope he buys a Camaro. If he does, any bets on how long it takes him to start a crusade on C5 about it? I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.
