That speedo looks 1000 times better than the stock or premium speedos. Only the Boss speedo compares. I hate the stock gauges with their stupid slanted retro numbers.

That huge opening in the grill is a little funky looking.

That 20th anniversary label is total BULLCRAP!
My 10th anniversary doesn't say anything about Shelby. I call shenanigans.

From the Ford site:

SVT Performance Package
3.31 axle with TORSEN differential, unique wheels, R-Compound tires, Bilstein adjustable dampers, unique springs, unique interior touches, front fascia dive planes

Dive planes?
Anyone have a clue?

The car is fully operational under water.

This would likely reference the hydroplanes on a submarine but I am pretty sure that the GT500 is not made for underwater operation...

I agree.
I feel like we just got a Super Snake equivalent for 30k less from Ford.

No aftermarket, straight from Ford, with warranty, and a fantastic design. Plus 35 less logo emblems so less weight.

The only drawback is the over the top tail lights bordering on bling-bling.

There aren't many things I don't like about my '05, but drying off the grille after washing is one of them. No worries with this GT500. Mind you, I'd be worried about one of my cats climbing in

The original mule from the 'Ring had larger, much more effective aero aids (that would never have met DOT or Ford standards)...

How they morped into a production "dive plane"...

Very interesting...thanks.
Im definately going to get a 13' GT500.
Ford exceeded my expectations. For me, the only thing that
could have made it any better would be a SS or KR-ish hood, but
that was wishful thinking.
