2013 Shelby came in!!

My 2013 Shelby GT500 finally came in a few days back. I told myself I was going to leave it stock except for a JLT CC, Redline painted Hood Struts, Tint, and Roush Side Splitters.....But that plan didn't work out for me LOL! Already got basic bolt ons and plan to do 3.73s by next week. After that I'm going to have the rear wheels sent off to get widened to 10.5 and get some Nitto NT05R 315s back there.

Heres some pics now that I got tint.

Awesome! I'd get a set of the front 19x9s and have those widened - get more rubber on the ground with a thicker sidewall!

Congratulations Planeswalker. You must be extremely proud, and rightfully so Sir.

Your new car is really above reproach.-----Bill

Awesome, congrats! That is a sweet looking ride! And those side splitters flow nicely with the front splitter.

Nice car, curious why you would want 3.73's in that car?

The Shelby has loooong gears, 1st is good till 60+ right now. Cruising at highway speeds in 6th I'm at 1400 RPMs. The only issue is it already will break the tires loose in 4th gear at highway speeds!!! But that's why I'm getting the wheels widened and some tires that can hold up.

That would be great, if it wasn't impossible to find tires for a 19". Nitto makes one size of NT05s for 20" and it is exactly what I will need for a 10.5-11.0 wheel. With 10.5/315s/20 I won't have to do any mods to give them plenty of clearance. I need everything I can get, should be at 700+ rwhp by December.

Gotcha, sounds good. After I posted that, I thought it would be hard to find 19" tires that big - or they'd be $$$...
