2011 Shelby GT500 -- 550 horsepower
I believe I said this in another thread, but I'm glad they've put a decent, but not fantastic tire on the car. A tire is a consumable, like gas and oil. Give me a good rim (which I feel I'm getting) and let me pic my own tire. Some of us like Nittos, others, Pirelli, etc.... There's no way they are going to find a tire to suit us all.. And then it'll up the price to compensate for that tire. Smoke up the GY's and then buy what you want. That's my game plan
Your 100% right!! Ford can make it 1000 hp but if the stock wheels
cant handle the power then whats the point? You can put a Ford Pinto vs a Shelby and the Pinto would have a shot to win in the 1/4 because the shelby will be spinning its wheels the first 2 gears out of the hole..I dont want to hear if you put on slicks or drags etc..Stock to Stock!! Ford/Shelby need to make the car so it can handle all that power!!!!

Still blows my mind that even with the performance package we still get 9.5" wide wheels. These things need at least a 10.5" out back. Don't the current Z06s have like 11" out back?
LOVE the camcovers!
That looks like a great package, for an all around street/track car. However, if your intent is drag racing, you still need to loosen up the front suspension to get weight transfer.
They should include adjustible struts and shocks in the Track Package!
If I was in the market, for a 50 grand car,I would get it!
