The skinny stripes will take some time getting used to. The wheels I'm not so sure about. I am pleased to hear about the ten horsepower increase. The car will be more distinguishable between the 2010 though. That's a plus.

Only if you get the SVT Package. Without it the car will look just like a 2010 which is fine with me.

No on the wheels and no on the anemic stripes. For me, anyway.

It is. The regular 2011 GT500 will not have a Gurney flap.

IIRC, you can purchase other Gurney flaps through Ford too, no?

The wheels aren't bad, but I definately prefer the regular GT500 ones. The stripes do not work at all. If they wanted to do a slight variation on the stripe, why not do something like the Super Snake stripe? The thin stripes look awkward. Or better yet, just for getthe stripes altogether to give it a nice clean and mean look.

IMO, I'd still yank the top stripes, then keep the sides and leave them alone at that. I don't like the skinny stripes one bit, and I've seen some 'naked' GT500s that look fantastic.

550HP, lighter engine and 3.73s should make this baby go real well.

the stripes are weird. They're not horrible, but I wouldn't want them on mine if I were to get one... If I were going the stripe route I'd much prefer the larger ones. Or I'd even wait to see what the custom graphics comes out with.

Anyone actually knows the benefit of the SVT package suspension and brakes for 2011 ?

Brakes are same on all GT500's.

Suspension is different springs front and rear, probably stiffer.... and different rear shocks. I'd expect a rougher ride but better track performance.

That sux. They should have left it on the regular GT500 and gave the SVT Package a new/different one. Is the regular one just gonna have a delete or a new wing?
