Not feeling it. The narrow over the top stripes and solid side stripes look weird. I don't like the look of the rims either. It has a glass roof as well.

 

I like the new red but I'm lukewarm on the stripes and wheels...have to decide if I want to change my order now to remove the SVT package.

 

You would probably be better off getting 3.73 gears and the FR3 suspension instead.

 

Wonder if they are any interior changes with the SVT packages besides the shifter...if they messed with the stripes on the seats that would be a deal breaker.

 

I believe you can get the inside stripes a different color than the outside stripes.

 

The stripes ruin the look, just imagine those wheels with normal Shelby stripes...

Give me the stock GT500 wheels, pleeeeease!

 

Man, I've been sick of that general style of wheel since the late '90's. I would have expected a better design than that. I'd take the stock GT500 wheels over these for sure.

 

. . . I like the standard SVT wheels better, but the SVT package wheels would look much better, in my opinion, on a solid color GT500 with no stripes at all . . . and lowered.

 

I like the stripes dislike the wheels..

previous shelby stripes looked way better! those wheels look pretty good to me...they just arn't flowing with the white stripes at all

the red looks hot, I just read autoblogs artical on it, and they say they'res some improvements over last year, but they have tight lips until monday, anyone know what they know? lol

The narrow lemans stripes have no "look at me appeal" and I like the stock wheels much better.

 

i like the narrow stripes as a differentiator and the wheels look pretty cool. i prefer the standard look but i also wouldnt order the performance package anyway. I think they accomplished the goal of if you see one with that setup you know it is performance pack right away.

 

I'm not impressed with the appearance or can not knock the performance upgrades and the interior's improvements. Overall the '07 - '09 are looking better every day.

 

Wheels - OK, not quite what I expected
Stripes - top ones are awful, sides are better
Spoiler - like the Gurney flap

I'd get the package, but yank the stripes immediately.

Also sounds like the output will be around 550hp, but we'll know for sure next week.

I'm trying to imagine my Sterling gray car with red strips and the black accents.... I'm glad I had plans of having the vinyl removed and painting the stripes on... I'll be putting fat black stripes with a red accent... The way it SHOULD have come...

The rims look darker than the order guide shows..... Quite a bummer.

 

Does anyone know if the rear wheels are at least 20x10" ? Or are they the same not-wide-enough-for-540HP 9.5" wheels?
