I had my own trepidations about the boldness of the stripes when I ordered my 2011 SVTPP because I had never seen one in person. I still am trying to get the best pictures to illustrate how nice the car looks in person, but I can tell you that one of the main reasons they don't look good in pictures is that the stripes are reflective and the camera magnifies the gloss. In person they are awesome and I am so happy that I bought mine with the stripes in the seats and over the top.

As for the vinyl stripes.....................I wish for $60k that Ford would paint on the stripes as there isn't a vinyl on earth that will last out in the sun over time. My car will be kept inside and only outside for drives etc so I don't worry about it, but if the opportunity ever arose, I'd just paint mine back on and then you have every option of color available.
