2010 GT500 Rear Photos
It looks every bit as good as I Imagined it would.
I'm assuming that ALL of the press release photos haven't been released yet because it hasn't had it's Official Debut at the NAIS in Detroit yet.
Everyone's been so damned upset about no rear end pic's that it hasn't even dawned on anyone that there were No Engine Pic's either. Something I'm sure Ford would not omit from a photo shoot of this car, since it's the engine that makes this car Top Dog of the Mustang Line Up! Which could just lend a bit of credibility to those Engine Rumors too!
Brad.........care to comment on this?? I agree that it's weird no photos of the engine were released. I know it's only been a couple of days.......but I can't wait until the 11th!!!!! I need more pics!!!

The rear is starting to grow on me. I kinda wish that Ford gave the Shelby unique tail lights like the original 67-70 models that the car borrows so heavily from. I felt the same way with the first gen SVT GT500. Picture this car with the 03' Mustang concept tails/ GT-R concept tails....
Not being critical just thinking out loud. Overall I like this model more than the 09'

Thanks Brad. I thought I had seen those. But, when I looked at your timeline I did not see any. Looks like my engine bay with the addition of the Ford Racing CAI (which will prob be on mine by Spring).
That's the real reason they moved the Snake to the Passenger side, so the GT-500 can Goble Up all of those Pesky Camaro's it Comes Across!

It seems the stripes are an inch or so wider than its predecessor and the center emblem is slightly larger. I like the propostions of all the components.
This is what a dream show car is all about. I can't picture where this car needs a single mod.

They're all taken w/ boom cameras mounted off the car and shot at slow shutter while the car is moving at low speed so the car is in focus, but the background has the warp speed look. I bet the boom camera was mounted where the Photoshop retouch is located.
Neither do I, as I posted in the thread about the front end:

The Shelby’s open-element air induction system features a conical air filter instead of a flat-panel closed system to reduce air restriction. This approach allows more air to be pumped through the engine, producing more power and increasing the engine’s efficiency.
A cold-air intake feeds the coolest air possible directly into the air box, helping further increase horsepower. The intake necessitated moving the Cobra snake badge to the other side of the grille to enable maximum airflow.

I'm assuming that the Air Inlet is now right behind the grill on the drivers side, just like it is on the 2010 GT, not coming in from the fender as the previous cars did, including the GT-500's and GT-500 KR. So it makes sense not to stick anything in the way of that air flow. Besides, I like it better on the passenger side. But that's just my preference.
What I was laughing at was the comment above about the Camaro stuck in his CAI.
