Looks like a hack job. It's like Shelby just took the 07-09 SS look and slapped it on this body style. The 2010 GT500 in stock form is a much better looking car IMHO.

It looks sexy as all hell, but you're right on hackjob-- the hood doesn't match with the front fenders above the headlights.

I think it looks great minus the dopey scoops where the quarter windows are.

Agreed, though not a week after they "revealed" the 2010 SS I was at Shelby with my 2010, and they were pushing hard for me to turn it into a SS. I told 'em thanks but no thanks, I don't really find it as a good deal, way too over priced for what you get imo.

I think the fake side scoops are embarrassing.

Car looks like ****ing ****. Don't waste your money. Buy a Ford GT500 and do the Whipple 3.4 yourself. Avoid all the embarassing, tacky **** the SS package "gives" you.

...or you can go through Evolution Performance, spend 5-7k in parts, install youself, and have a GT500 just as fast as the SS

The 2010 GT500 looks amazing, the only thing I would want from the Super Snake (appearance wise) is the front splitter and the wheels. The SS hood and side scoops just look porky to me.

I'm sure $helby will be more than happy to rake potential buyers over the coals for those items, though.

Can't go wrong with the power mods, though!

GRR what you guys say is true, it does look so tacky but what would you guys think. I am going to pick up my GT500 soon and i was planning on doing this conversion. But do you think the chinspoiler and/or the hood will ever be available, same for the hood pins with brackets.

At least they painted the rear bumper to make it tolerable.

I don't like it painted. It needs some black to break the rear up.

Now that i look at it, all i want from that car is the chin spoiler and side skirts which are the only peices of carbonfiber. I know and something tells me Trufiber will make a better looking hood than that. Even the seats look like they just took the stock seat cover and sewed on some peices of leather over the factory stripes. Yeah i am going to stick with my stock GT500 and do my own thing, maybe even just leave it in the hands of Evolution Performance or Tillman Speed and spend half the price of the SS. Heck even the dash plaque looks weak, i mean the one from the 07-09 looked WAY better.

I must say I agree for the 10 shelby the SS package just doesn't look good. I'm all for it on the 07-09, but not on the 10 shelby.I like the stock appearance and body lines just the way they are.
