Nice, stopped by my dealer and asked what they were charging for a well equipped GT500, the salesman told me 80 large.

 

Did he actually say "80 large"?

 

I was there yesterday and the red one is very nice and is priced to sale

 

Dealer markup on some of these cars is Horse Poop. No pun intended. Don't they know that the people buying these cars know what the MSRP is and then some? You would figure they would be smart enough to not insult anyone's intelligence by throwing numbers in the wind like that unless they expect the "moron" with deep pockets to waltz into their dealership on a regular basis. Sheesh. The nerve.

 

The markup on these two cars i believe is $5k but I was told if ya call and ask... you might be pleasantly surprised

 

I had the oil changed on my 2013 GT today and while i was there i ventured over to the showroom. both GT500 cars are still there and available. i talked to my salesman who indicated they had already accepted an offer for MSRP but the individual when asked to put a deposit down to hold the car changed his mind. So, that tells me it can be had for MSRP if you call. The black with red stripes car is gorgeous. All options on both cars except the glass top....

 

Just called, they are down to 1 the black one and they want $5000 adm.
