I was actually there at Cecil with my Boss that day. I was in the staging lanes when this happened.

I pulled out and decided to pack it in for the day. It was pretty scary.

How does one explain this type of crash to the insurance agent?
I'm almost certain you're not covered at a drag strip.

Cecil county dragway in MD? First I miss the doodles on their bikes in Baltimore and now I find out I missed the Cobra Jet crash also? I have none of the luck.

We live in a time when money can buy anything....Plot down your $95,000.00 and you have a fully built 9.0 second dragcar. One that is professionally built and very fast....only thing missing isthe drivers knowledge, which was generally built up over time buy a steady advancementin speed, starting from the stock entry up to and including the current speedof a 9 sec ride. Skip the important learning curve and you wind up with adamaged car and on you tube. I suppose they have plenty of money to have someoneelse fix it for them. Oh well..

You're not gonna get insurance on a Cobra Jet. Not street legal. Not really even titled. Ordered and sold through the parts department from what I understand. Wheelie bars would have really helped. Thing went way too high for to not freak out a guy who can afford a $100k mustang race car.

Impressed. Keep him racing. Wish I could have had the chance at that age. And welcome to the site. Make a intro thread and introduce yourself.
