Exclamation Classic Design Concepts: Bad Penny! SEMA 2013

Ford Mustang “Bad Penny” by Classic Design Concepts

The competition comes and goes, but the “Bad Penny” always turns up in the winner’s circle. “Bad Penny” is set up to be the ultimate competition machine and ready for anything. Car shows, drag races, road courses or the drive to work, the “Bad Penny” dominates all. Deep black paint with copper accents is complimented by performance add-ons and styled with an aggressive stance on 20” Forgiato super concave wheels, “Bad Penny” is the epitome of sophistication with a hint of intimidation.

Classic Design Concept’s “Bad Penny” concept features a wide array of performance styling components. A Ford Racing Supercharger under the hood gives Bad Penny 624hp with street commanding presence that roars to life thanks to Pypes long tube headers and Ford Racing side exhaust! The sophisticated design doesn’t stop there. Whiteline/RTR adjustable suspension components and Wilwood Big brake upgrades all wrapped under custom Forgiato 3-piece wheels, help get keep “Bad Penny” grounded.

Exterior styling on “Bad Penny” highlights CDC’s Mustang Performance Grille and RTR aerodynamics; custom deck lid trim panel, license plate surround, side splitters, rear splitters and spoiler. Classic Design Concepts decided to round out “Bad Penny’s” design with a CDC customized Chin spoiler, lower grille and a front fascia equipped with functioning brake cooling ducts.

“Bad Penny” wouldn’t be complete without a redesigned interior. A Ford Racing gauge pack was added to keep tabs on what’s going on under the hood. Recaro/Ford Racing seats wrapped in custom Alea leather keep the driver and willing passenger secure. Interior trim accents include color match door inserts with custom made “Bad Penny” inlays. CDC also added a rear seat delete, to maximize space for a Kicker audio tray. Audio enhancements by Kicker include IX amps, QS mid range and L7 woofers. Needless to say, this concept is one “Bad Penny!”
