2014 Iacocca Edition, anyone?
2014 Iacocca Edition, anyone?
How cool would that be?
The 2009 Iacocca edition was one of my favourite S197 variants on the pre-2010 car.
Just imagine what they could do as a finale for the 2014 MY

I'm a huge personal Lee Iococca fan, growing up in the 80s and all, but I don't understand what was so different about this Iococca edition. Some large chrome wheels? Doesn't really fit the Mustang. Oh I guess the supercharger too, but rather just get the Shelby then.

Not liking the wheels nor the louvers or back window delete. Looks too much like a toy car since there are no lines or nothing, just like a chunk of metal. All I like is the front and the supercharger .
that is the best 05-09 Mustang I've seen. Love how the rear deck lines fully extend to the back of the trunk lid like that. color choice and wheel choice is spot-on. and I like how it is more true to the concept car, which I always liked better than the actual final product.
Surprised I've never seen this edition before.

They were going for about $90k if I remember right ... .for that money I'd much rather start with a GT500 and mod it myself so that it's definitely unique, not Iaccoca's definition of what "unique" should be
Cool ad though ...

I personally think it's almost as ugly of a car as "Eleanor".
I also love everything about this car, fastback roof line, deep inset grill and headlights. Wish they were produced like this. Somebody sold one to one of those pawn shop shows on tv, guy sold it to the shop for like 40K

Anyone that was able to turn around a defunct automobile company as he did, and in such a fast timeframe, could do the same for a country. Too bad he was not interested.
