2010 Aftermarket Versions?
I seem to remember many of the aftermarket companies getting a hold of the 2005 before its debut. So do you think those like roush and saleen already have the 2010? If so, how long after the 2010 debuts do you think we will see the aftermarket mustangs show up?

i know steeda had the 05 when i lived down there, they had it for some time but no matter how much begging i did they would not show it.
if they keep the same motor then all that will need to be redone by the aftermarket is cosmetic updates.
edit: you can bet your money on the dealers doing the same thing with this run as they did last time. all of the dealers had the aftermarket department throw all kinds of crap at a base model car, call it some limited edition and mark it up 10k.
on a side note, the foose mustang was a flop. the dealers could not give them away and if i am not mistaken still have some 07's sitting around..lol..

HAHA thats too funny. When the 06's started hitting dealer lots, my local one (who was no longer a certified Saleen dealer) decided take a GT and throw on the S-281's body kit.....they tried selling it for 38k. Its now mid 2008, and the same car is STILL there. And they are STILL asking 33k for it. Idiots

roush, never cared for the roush, the styling never caught me.
steeda, i used to live by them and for personal reasons just don't care for them.
saleen, the 05 and up line has been amazing. just in style they got my vote but they are putting some good models out there with everything a person could want, if they would only offer them in my price range now.....

I thought about that, but i think the SEMA Show is a couple of weeks before the Mustang Is supposed to Debut. If that is right they wouldn't be allowed to, would they?

A couple of them have both, but others are in the same boat as you...
On the flip side though, we're getting a lot of new pieces ready for SEMA for the 05-09 cars, and some are going to carry over onto the 2010, which will put us ahead of the game on those pieces, and then we can work into other pieces as we have time with the new car.

This year we'll be in restyling booth (North Hall) 11317, first time exhibiting there! Booth construction is going on now, and it should end up looking real nice.

They didn't exhibit last year either - although I know Dario was there as I saw him with people mingling - much as I was last year.

Hey - you going to be at MOSI this year on Oct 25th?

Unfortunately no. The timing of MOSI to SEMA kind of prohibits that, as the trailer leaves for Vegas the Monday following. We'll be busy packaging and preparing right up to the last minute I'm sure, so going to Tampa the day before isn't in the cards.
We are sending some goodies their way though, along with fliers - I like the show, it's just a scheduling conflict we can't overcome this time around.

Cool - again hope SEMA goes well
Maybe catch you at Sliver Springs in January?.....
