Seriously? All I get is stupid crap thrown my way at every show or car event that I go to with my car. Phrases like "I was going to buy a GT350 but I decided to get a california special instead" or "you missed a spot" or they ask "how fast does it go?" I say how fast in the 1/4 and they say "is that all?" "I had a bla bla bla that runs 10.6 stock" It just goes on and on.

Not at a car show, but....

A friend, well, acquintance who I'm on okay terms with is helping his uncle restore a '68 Firebird... it's gonna have a 455 Poncho in it which he claims will do 600hp, which is perfectly reasonable.

Then he says it will run 8s in the 1/4 mile.

Good point. Like all the ricers I know.

"It's not the power that matters, yo, it's how high you can rev, dawg!"

"Okay, please explain how your Civic DX motor is better than a 396 Chevy L78."

If you're making a passing reference to my old Dodge...

Subtract about 12ft and 36ci and you've got a point.
