Don't fear going with the 6-7# non-intercooled kits. You can get one reasonably priced, make very nice power, and will save a bundle. You just can't get CRAZY with the power, due to the heat and lack of higher-octane here. You can also install the centri's yourself fairly easily.

You can always buy an aftercooler (or intercooler, depending on which SC you're buying) later, and up the boost then.

But, as was said, buy a house first, so you have a place to do the fun stuff, THEN buy the toys I went about it slightly reversed, but will be closing on my house within the next 10 days! With garage room to spare!
