New guy - met ya'll about a month ago, finally got my car going!

Howdy all My name's Jeremy, and I have an '06 Tungsten GT with 18" Bullits and the premium interior.

I met ya'll out at the track about a month ago, and talked to several of you {Jeff or Geoff (not sure spelling) in particular}

I just got my car off the dyno, after the 2.6L, intercolled KB install, with the 8# pulley. As with everything where Kurtis is involved, it took forever and a day, but is awesome.

From what I understand from Kurtis, Jeff has his car out at Kurtis's shop, awaiting a similar KB install

I'll be checking in here from time to time, and would love to hook up with ya'll again soon. Grabber Orange reminded me of it, so I'll be here more often now

If I find the directions, I'll be there. I had this weekend planned, but those plans (major yard work for the old man) fell through. So I'm free again, and would be happy to meet with ya'll.

I'll try to find the directions. If you feel like taking it easy on a guy, feel free to post the directions for early-Saturday (are you guys out of your mind!) meeting, and I'll be there

Good to hear you are alive Jeremy. Did Kurtis tell you what happened to the loaner GT with 2.4L that you drove for a week or so? Did he show you the pics? Rather awful and one guy is still in the ICU...

BTW, I'm going to kill Kurtis on Friday for telling you about my car. He was supposed to keep a TIGHT lid on what was going on. BTW guys, Bob has been talking to Kurtis about custom tuning and gauge installs...

He lent the car to a guy who he was building an engine for. The guy was only supposed to use the car for job interviews since he had just lost his job. He took it out with a 17 yo kid friend, got drunk, hot rodded it around and took it up to 125. He missed a turn, took the car flying through 20-30 foot tall trees and rolled it more times than anyone knows. Both walked away but the car was just a lump of metal and parts and the kid is in the ICU and is not expected to make it...

The kid is the passenger. The driver was in his late 30's I think. he was a idiot regardless. I mean, come on, why in the hell would you drive someone elses car like that? If you want to be a dip ****e in your own car go ahead but why do it in someone elses?

Yes, he is liable. The insurance goes with the car not the driver. If they go after anyone it will be Kurtis since he is the "deep pockets" since the ahole driver doesn't even have a job...Kurtis has already retained legal counsel and they are waiting to see what happens. If the kid dies there will be a wrongful death suit I'm sure. The driver could then be held legal responsible for involuntary mansluaghter, so he could go to jail. Kurtis would just have to pay the bills, future earnings, etc. Futures and pain and suffering are always hard to compute with kids since they did have a future but since they are snot nosed kids they have no real jobs and no careers...

Any chance of a guy getting the KB from the wrecked car real cheap? Thats a tragedy. But I'm still interested in the KB if its a good or great deal.

That blows. Any chance of it being rebuildable? Still at a good deal?

You'd have to ask Kurtis. He said the insurance company has it and he wants nothing to do with that particular car now. I'm telling you, the rearend is now the front seats and the front end is now the dash board. You can't even tell its a mustang except for the bullit rims...

Hey Im not supersticious! If I can get my hands on a deal I'm gonna do it! Jeff you might put a bug in his ear to see if its worth it or not since you guys have a relationship. He might think I am nuts if I were to call and ask strait out.
