The red cobra is pretty quick. David had him by about 4 cars and ol boy caught him.

Well then I feel pretty good about that one. Looked like he had trouble at the beginning.
I am also surprised to hear how much tire squalling there is with the DR's. It dosent seem that bad in the car but you can hear it real good in the videos.

I take it cobra4548 is Heffe (Jeff)? What were you able to run, Jeff? Your car will be what I'll be comparing my runs against, as you're closest to what I've done.
I've yet to run my car, either stock or modified, at the track. I couldn't make out any of the times of any of these runs of any of the cars from the videos. Jeff, what was your best run of the night?
Man, I wish I could have made the Shelby meet drag night! I had already committed myself to help my old man for the weekend, for 'Father's Day', and got worked like a rented mule
But I'd LOVE to know what Heffe's car ran for the weekend!

I think Jeff ran a 12.6? In the last video
My best was a 13.11 in 80 humid degrees. I cant wait for better air. Not too bad for NA

Dave, 13.11 is AWESOME for NA! Especially since we're into the heat now, and God knows we've had NASTY humidity for the past 4 weeks!
I wish the videos were better, b/c it's hard to tell who is what from these These are NOT Youtube worthy.

Oh, and if I can't best a 12.6, as I sit right now, I'll be ****ED!!!!! My '99 Cobra, with a V-2 SQ, ran a 12.5, and that was with 18" 2K Cobra R's, low-profile tires, and the ****ty-assed IRS.
I'd HOPE, if I heat these treads, with a good solid-axle launch, I'd get into the 12.5 range. What was the MPH on Jeff's run? That should tell us alot.

Dude, at least I have the guts to get out on the track. You can't and won't run in the low 12s like I did on your current setup. Your stock tires are crap and you have no LCAs, UCA, or antisquats not to mention you have no DRs. You would do nothing but spin and sit at the line.
My speed on the 12.6 was almost 114. Even with my racing setup, i.e. lcas, uca, uca mount, DRs, I was still spinning a lot of tire on my runs...

Jeff, take a step back, and realize I'm not trying to diss you. Why you went off as you did, is beyond me.
