Well, looks like the Roush is staying the garage this weekend. We're working saturday and they will let us know tomorrow is we are working sunday.

Maybe this will help pay for a pulley upgrade.

Well I have mixed feelings about this Chris haha Pulley is nice but we sure would like to see you at the show~!!

 

With registration starting at 3:00 and ending at 5:00... just what will we be doing for that extra hour in 100+ degree weather if we are to meet at Kum and Go at 2:00 ?

 

I really don't have much choice. The items I work are 'critical' right now and I'm the only one that works them. Our shop has been swamped ever since they moved another shop down from Kansas City to our shop. We inherited an 11 man shop but didn't get 11 men to help. We got 2....

I may try to stop in to the show if we don't work sunday but if we work
sunday there's no way.

 

The flier said that registration would begin at 3:00pm. I think It would be wise to get there about an hour earlier so that we can park in line with each other and not get spread all over the lot.

 

Isn't the show on Sat the 18th??????? So how does the Sunday thing have an effect?

Bob, I dont care what time. We can get there at 4:45 for all I care. I just wanted the club to be able to line up together. I have no idea how many cars there might be at this thing and I hate to get spread all over the show. Is there anyway to find out how many there might be already registered? I think there is space for more than 100 cars.

 

In reading the last few posts it looks like its just gonna be myself, bob, jarrod, chris (doc) and anyone else on the mailing list. So I would guess that we wont have more than 6-8 cars total for the club. We can arrive at 3:00 at kum and go and then cruise over at our leisure. Does this sound ok with everyone????

 

Alarm goes off at 3:20am if we are working sunday.

 

So I assume that you could make the show on Sat if you dont have to get up early on Sun?

 

It would be close. We work 7-3:30pm saturday so getting there by 5pm would be pushing it if I wanted in the show. When it comes to overtime and weekends all bets are off. They've cancelled OT after calling it before. It just depends on how much we get repaired thurs/fri and what the field stations need. It varies hour by hour. It sort of consumes that whole weekend. They may not call sunday until saturday afternoon. Personally I doubt I will know about sunday until we work and finish up saturday to see where we stand, work wise, but thats from 20 years experience doing this.

 

I understand. Well I hope you don't have to work and perhaps you can make the show!

Ok I guess since no one will answer I will say 3:00 at the Kum and Go elm/peoria exit off of the creek tpk in Jenks. For the meeting place for the show. Be there or be Jarrod.

Since David is running this show hopefully Randy and his truck and trailer will be elsewhere, and David will be fair and equal on where we park, with me close to an exit,

Jarrod don't worry about my car....you new mods look really good,

Besides, I will leave just before the heat causes me to pass out...about 45 minutes.

 

New mods arent enough to overcome the BLING MACHINE trust me on this... your car is like one big trophy bob...lets not be modest

 

I must, I must , I must, increase my trophy collection! I never win anyway. I just like to see someone from the club win. I get as much fun out of that as winning myself!

 

Bob I'm with you about being near an exit. After that fiasco that I went thru at the foose show! I never want to be boxed in like that again!
