Oh yeah Paul. I forgot to tell you. While at the show yesterday looking thru modified mustang magazine, we noticed that the club was pictured in the magazine write up about the Shelby meet. Bob, Paul, Jeff, David, Jarrod, and 427 Chris' cars all visible in the shot as well as our booth/tent. Albeit you have to use a magnifying glass to see real good, nonetheless we are in the magazine! WOO HOO!

Some Blue Cobalt SS thats always at the car shows on Tuesday nights was right next to me on the 169 onramp light. (I always seem to get ******** there) well anyways light turns green and he has the inside lane... and gets on the gas... so I let him get one car length away and Hit it..... tore up to his bumper hit second and next thing you know I slingshot past him and had him by a car length... hit 3rd and he dropped back another car length...... This guy is always at the car shows sooo proud of his supercharged 4 banger. looked up the specs. They are 0-60 in 5.9 and do the quarter in 14.4 @100. well anyways... he had a car length head start and i ended up 2 cars ahead... I would have loved to have had him from a dead stop...wouldnt have even been a race. He will probably tell his friends that he did GREAT agains a GT!! and that he could have won f he would have really pushed it. (disclaimer: I didnt go to redline in any gear... short shifted and still walked him)
Don't play the game... Street Racing is dangerous. Save it for the track.
